Location: WS7 3FX
Shifts: Monday to Friday 9am start till 6.30pm / 7pm finish
Pay Rate: £16.11
We are seeking a reliable and professional Class 1 (C+E) Driver to join our operation on a daytime shift pattern. This is an ongoing position offering consistent local work with established delivery and collection routes.
The successful candidate will be responsible for completing deliveries and collections efficiently while maintaining high standards of safety, customer service, and vehicle care.
Key Responsibilities

• Complete up to 5 deliveries and up to 5 collections per day.
• Carry out predominantly local transport operations.
• Follow established routes and customer schedules, with approximately 90% of work consisting of regular deliveries and collections and 10% ad hoc assignments.
• Safely operate Class 1 (C+E) vehicles in accordance with all road transport regulations.
• Use a pump truck when required to assist with loading and unloading activities.
• Complete all relevant paperwork and electronic records accurately.
• Conduct daily vehicle checks and report any defects promptly.
• Maintain a professional and courteous manner when dealing with customers and colleagues.

Requirements

• Valid Class 1 (C+E) licence.
• Valid Driver CPC qualification.
• Valid Digital Tachograph Card.
• Good understanding of drivers' hours and working time regulations.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively.

Training
Full training and site induction will be provided.
